Possible Place Holder?

So ever since Kiwi (kiwicide.deviantart.com/) told me how to do the diagonal stripes I have been wanting to find a use for it! I tried to make myself a button with it but I didn't like it and so I tried this, I think its okay but I'm not to sure anyone would use it...... so that were I need your input; does it look good? would you use it if you needed it?... let me know!
